About Me:

Hello, I’m Jenn Lugo! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Amy Rodriguez, LPC-S, with over 15 years of experience in education, including 7 years as a school counselor. I enjoy working with kids of all ages, but I’m especially passionate about supporting tweens and teens as they navigate the ups and downs that naturally come with growing up.

I work with adolescents who may be experiencing anxiety, challenges with emotional regulation, school stress, trauma, or major life transitions. I also enjoy helping kids build executive functioning skills and emotional intelligence as they learn more about themselves and how they connect with others. Having spent many years in schools, I understand how emotional challenges often show up both at school and at home, and how important it is for kids to feel supported in both spaces.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and approachable, with a strong emphasis on building genuine relationships. I enjoy partnering with clients and families to support growth through building confidence, developing life skills, setting healthy boundaries, and strengthening relationships. I have experience working with a wide range of family dynamics, including shared custody and co‑parenting arrangements, as well as families where grandparents or extended family members play a primary caregiving role.

Outside of the office, my husband and I live in Ding Dong, Texas (yes, it’s a real place!). I love spending time in nature soaking up some vitamin D, playing in my garden, or getting lost in a good book. You’ll often find me enjoying coffee, singing in the car, sauna cycling, or simply spending quality time with the people I love.
