About Me:
I am Rachel De La Pena, a clinical intern currently enrolled in the Professional Counseling graduate program at Angelo State University. I bring 18 years of experience working with children and their families as a teacher, which has deeply shaped my understanding of child development, family systems, and emotional growth.
I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and build emotional resilience. My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood.
Outside of my professional work, I value family, friends and lifelong learning. I live in Georgetown with my husband and our two sons. We enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors, and when time allows, I love to read.
