About Me:
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University and a Bachelor's of Science in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin. I have 25 years experience in public education in grades 1st-8th (Math) and a professional high school counselor in Katy ISD and Hutto ISD. I am currently working at Georgetown Child and Family Counseling. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families.
I live in the local area with my soulmate/husband of almost 30 years, our dogs Cody, Mitzy, and cat Patches. I have 2 amazing young adult children, a daughter getting married this summer, a phenomenal future son-in-law, and a son in college. I love helping to empower others and find their greatest potentials and what makes them happy through life’s changes and unforeseen circumstances! You can find me spending time outside walking and training my 1 1/2 year old Labrador Retriever for therapy work (hopefully I can add her soon to my counseling sessions!), gardening, listening to music, in motion at a local fitness center, and finding forgiveness, patience, and gratitude with self in today’s changing world.
