About Me:
I am Ashlynn Taylor, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Mark Weber, LPC-S. I received my Master of Arts degree from Midwestern State University in Clinical Mental Health with a focus in school counseling. I have experience in working with school-aged children, their parents, and families. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, and Trust-Based Relational Therapy (TBRI) in my counseling practice.
It is my goal as a therapist to help clients grow towards becoming the best version of themselves. I am passionate about providing a safe, supportive, judgement-free space for clients to explore and share their experiences. I believe that every person has the ability to foster growth and positive change in their life. As your therapist, I will assist you with navigating the challenges of life and negative thought patterns to help promote a healthy, successful, confident lifestyle at a pace that is right for you.
I live in Bertram with my husband, our dogs Nelli, Frank, & Cooper, and our cat, Chandler Bing. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors, visiting with friends & family, and enjoying a local coffee shop.
